India is building a monster copter

  After success of the LCA Tejas and LCH (Light Combat Helicopter), HAL is now looking for Multirole Helicopter. in the 2000's HAL is decided to Develop 10-tonne class helicopter MLH (Midium Lift Helicopter). during the early 2017 HAL re-launched it's MLH project with the new project name IMRH (Indian Multirole Helicopter) with 12-tonnes class. here is a animition video of IMRH published by HAL.

In 2017 HAL reported that they are building a multirole helicopters with partnership.''we r looking for paterners, Eurocopter and Russian Mil Helicopters are in the race.''- HAL spokesperson said 

IMRH is capable of performing a various task , including troops transport, search and rescue operation, cargo carriage, VVIP transport, air ambulance.it can carry 28 troops or 4500 kg payload, it can capable of capable of flying at altitude of 20,000 feet with the range of 500 km.
★HAl is plan to produce 350-400 helicopters for Indian armed forces and exports.
★ It's design is largely based on airbus's super puma and mil's mi-17 choppers.
★ first prototype is ready for tasting, according to HAL report it's first flight by 2018.
★HAL is developing a four version's of these beast including Army, nevy, air force and one for the civil-operations.

HAL also reported that IMRH production will be starts in 2018-19 for the next 4-5 years.
