What happen when chinese controlled doklam plateau: danger for India.

Hallo world,

The Indian army has pitched in tents, indicating that they are unlikely to retreat unless there was reciprocity from china's People's Liberation Army personnel in ending the face-off at an altitude of around 10,000 feet in the sikkim section.

A steady line of supplies is being maintained for the soldiers at the site' official sources said, signalling that Indian army is not going to  wilt under any pressure from china.

According to a report in the times of India , India has move 2500 troops from there peace-time deployments in Sikkim to further reinforce its proactive stance.
Behind the human chains, both side have amassed troops and military  hardware. even Chinese has conducting the military exercise simulating battlefield scenarios. the sound of artillery and gunfire can be heard from the Indian side many miles away. The Chinese are, obviously, making a lot of noise on ground zero.
As can be seen on the map, China want's to push the India-Tibet-Bhutan tri-junction further south to make Dka la, which is now well within India, in to  a pass that opens to the chumbi valley.

The Chinese want to do this for many reasons, the primery being startegic.
If the Chinese can push the tri-junction south and occupy the Doklam plateau they will gain tremendous advantage over the IA and RBA (Royal Bhutan Army).
The vital rail and road links passing through siliguri corridor would
then come within range of Chinese artillery.
If the Chinese succeeds, Bejing would have effectively humbeld India and delivered a debilitating bloe to India's prestige and ego.

Tis pronounced thrust on anti sub-marine warfare comes at that time when, Indian nevy & ISRO recorded a chinese ship and sub-marine in the Indian Ocean Region over the last 2 month's.

Beijing has been suspicious about the purpose of the Malabar exercises as it feels that the annual war game is an effort to contain its influence in the Indo-Pacific region. Some reports said Beijing has sent a surveillance ship, the Haiwang Xiang, to monitor the Malabar Exercise. A Yuan-class diesel-electric submarine, the seventh underwater boat to be deployed by China in the Indian Ocean region since December 2013, is also currently in the region after an operational turnaround at Karachi.

Nathu La and Cho La clashes in 1967

hello world,

Earlier this month, Indian troops intervened to block the path of Chinese People’s Liberation Army soldiers engaged in building road-works on the Doklam and nathula pass.  Though no shots were fired, this was the first time that India used troops to protect Bhutan’s territorial interests.

★But few people know's that indian's gave bloody nose to the chinese PLA in 1967 at nathu la pass sector.

 It again started with sentries.

Minor scuffle between Sikh sentries and the Chinese on 30th September on a flat patch of icy land of about five metres on the unmarked boundary was the start of the stand off.

Information of scuffle reached late to CO, Major KB Joshi, but he didn’t waste anytime in telling Lt Rathore about anticipating a Nathu La like backlash. The CO decided to take stoke of the situation and thus reached Rai Gap area on the way to De Coy positions in morning.
When Gorkha taught them a lesson ::
Naib Subedar Gyan Bahadur Limbu was having a heated argument with his counterpart at the sentry post during which he rested his right foot on the boulder under dispute. The Chinese kicked his foot away. Gyan put his foot back and challenged them. Events were moving quickly.
By this time the Chinese had taken up position, presumably because their commander had already taken a decision to escalate the incident. And one of the Chinese sentries bayoneted Gyan wounding him in the arm.
The Gorkha’s response was swift and soon both arms of the Chinese who hit the JCO were chopped off with a Khukri. At this point the Chinese opened fire and the two sides engaged in a firefight at close range. Lance Naik Krishna Bahadur, the Post Commander, then led a charge against the Chinese in the vicinity who were forming up for an assault. Although hit and incapacitated, he continued to harangue his men forward.
Rifleman Devi Prasad Limbu directly behind his Post Commander was already engaged in a close quarter battle with the enemy and his Khukri took off five Chinese heads.
In this clashes 340 chinese troops were killed at nathu la and chau la pass. 34 indian troops were killed. this was the bloody nose given by the indians five years after 1962 war defeat.
Thank you.
